Rainbows, clouds, peace signs, glitter…..it’s hard to be unhappy when you have those! Especially the glitter….
I like to add little bits of shine here and there, but I don’t always want to make my glitter really obvious. I love that PK Glitz glitter is micro fine, allowing you to use a minimal amount yet get maximum results. Just the tiniest amount and you get fabulous sparkle.
On this layout, I used a Sakura “Quickie” Glue pen to apply the glitter to my “Feeling Groovy” tag. If you haven’t tried those before you have no idea what you’re missing! You can trace over anything and just sprinkle the glitter over it. You can even glitter over your own handwriting and when you brush away the excess the glitter will stay just where you wanted it.
Another great way to apply just a touch, is to use the PK Glitz double sided “Sticky tape” in the narrowest size. Outline your photo to add a beautiful glittery border, sprinkle on your glitter and you have a really pretty result.

For this card, I used the Prickley Pear Daisy Heads stamp to create a pattern on the background paper. I lightly inked the stamp and pressed it to my paper with different pressures to give it more of a distressed look. I added in a glue dot and added glitter to both it and my accordion flower using Lemonade Glitter Glitz!

Welcome to the this week’s edition of “Talk Tuesdays“! Today is the day that we post answers to questions that we’ve received either in our blog comments, from the shows we attend or emails. Come back every week and you’ll find the answers to those questions!
Q: What’s the difference between the glitter types: Glitz, Crystals and Pearls?
A: It can get a little confusing can’t it? Glitz colors are brilliant and opaque with max sparkle. Crystals have a touch of color and mostly clear sparkle. Pearls have a solid lustrous color with more of a pearly effect than max sparkle. You can see how Colleen used the Pearls in her tip below!
Okay…The Glitter Pearls glitter is simply Beautiful!! Like Pearlescent Bliss! If you haven’t tried them…do so…run…right now…get some!! Love!!
